- George Miranda, Community Advocate at PagerDuty, infrastructure engineer and book author, speaks about an open-source DevOps approach to Incident Response developed by PagerDuty in his talk „Behind the Curtain: The Anatomy of a Real Major Incident“.
- Marina Malaguti, Director of Data Science & Engineering at Jellyvision in Chicago, talks about three team patterns that she identified as commonly used today in “From the Server Room to the Dev Team”.
- Kris Buytaert, one of the initiators of the DevOps movement, currently working for Inuits, talks about the reciprocal influences of two growing fields in IT in “No DevOps without the Open Source Monitoring”.
- Philipp Krenn developer advocate at Elastic, the company behind the Elastic Stack, will look at what is often called the trifecta of observability: Logs, metrics, and traces. The title of his talk: „Observability is More than Logs, Metrics & Traces“.
- Martin Schurz from T-Systems Multimedia Solutions GmbH will demonstrate the state of their monitoring, including a tour of integrations and automations in his talk “Endless different projects – one monitoring“.
„In the past we have gained experience with organizing many one-day events all over the globe with our Icinga Camps“, says Blerim Sheqa, CPO at Icinga. „With IcingaConf we now aim at opening up a bigger, international platform for networking and learning.“
The event starts with a workshop day on June 23 with the „Icinga Essentials Workshop“ and the „Icinga Director Workshop“, followed by the main conference on June 24 and 25, 2020. IcingaConf takes place at Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam.
