Flexibler, kostengünstiger und innovativer - das sind die wichtigsten Ziele des weltweiten IT-Infrastruktur Konsolidierungsprojekts von Panasonic Europe. In Europa hat sich das Unternehmen dabei für den Hybrid Cloud Ansatz von IBM entschieden. Ab Ende 2013 werden 26 europäische Ländergesellschaften einschließlich der Türkei und Russland SAP- und weitere klassische Rechenzentrums-Services ausschließlich aus einer hybriden Cloud-Lösung eines IBM Rechenzentrums beziehen.

"Unser Kunde profitiert dabei ganz erheblich vom nahtlosen Zusammenspiel individueller und standardisierter Cloud-Services."
Zu dem mit Panasonic vereinbarten Gesamtpaket gehören darüber hinaus auch der Einsatz von DB2 für den SAP Betrieb sowie IBM Application Management Services zum Testen der ins neue Rechenzentrum migrierten Anwendungen.
