iBAHN Appoints New EMEA Vice President And Managing Director

iBAHN, a leading provider of broadband services to business travellers worldwide, today announces the high-level appointment of vice president and managing director for EMEA, Thomas Weiss.

Weiss will be tasked with continuing the company's success in the EMEA territory by developing pivotal business strategies to build on iBAHN's presence, while driving the development of new regions.

He joins from Juniper Networks, where he was formerly head of sales for emerging technologies in EMEA. He offers a wealth of experience with more than18-years sales, marketing and management knowledge in the networking, security and systems integration space.

Prior to this, Weiss worked for a number of influential international players including Peribit Networks, Nortel Networks, Hoffmann-La-Roche and IBM, where has was responsible for major business growth in Europe, EMEA and APAC.

iBAHN's current managing director EMEA, Graeme Powell, will assume a new role with the company as senior vice president, corporate development and finance, EMEA. Powell, in his 7 year tenure at iBAHN, has overseen the European business expand across 16 countries and will work with Weiss to continue to drive corporate growth and scale.
