iba AG offers a complete system for process analysis

Synchronized recording of images and measured data: Precise and professional process analysis

(PresseBox) (Fürth, )
The iba AG based in Fuerth (Bavaria) offers ibaCapture-CAM, a complete system consisting of hardware- and software-components that allows you to record synchronously pictures from video cameras and measured values of technological processes.

Do your production processes run smoothly? Are there any weak points? Common video installations can only record production processes, e.g. in steel industries. The solution developed by iba AG additionally supplies data for process analysis. Images and measured values can be watched on the monitor, recorded and analyzed in parallel. If you are interested in single process stages, these can be recorded event triggered and stored so that they can not be deleted.

IbaCapture-CAM is operated in combination with the ibaPDA-V6 system for data acquisition. During the measurement, each video channel is stored time-synchronously to the measured values, hence allowing a simple root cause analysis.

Display of live pictures and analysis

Dr. Ulrich Lettau, CEO of iba AG: "The video pictures can be watched live and as recorded video stream in the ibaPDA-V6 client. The recorded video stream of each camera module appears in a docking window next to the curves of the measured signals. The main field of application is the subsequent analysis of the relations between measured signals and recorded video streams. Here, the ibaAnalyzer is employed." According to Dr. Ulrich Lettau, users can embed the recorded data in the measuring file as well as export them in a standard format (avi).
