HYBRID SOFTWARE REPORTS STRONG SHOWING FOR VDP PRODUCTS AT LABELEXPO BRUSSELS

(PresseBox) (Gent, Belgium, )
HYBRID Software is pleased to announce that they set new records for both demonstrations and sales at LABELEXPO Brussels. More than 500 companies visited HYBRID Software’s stand for product demos during the four days of LABELEXPO, and 27 customers purchased VDP (Variable Data Printing) software from HYBRID at the show.  VDP is available as an option for HYBRID Software’s native PDF editors PACKZ and Stepz, with accelerated processing available through HYBRID’s CLOUDFLOW workflow.

With the widespread adoption of digital printing in the tag & label market, as well as a strong increase in personalization, label printers needed a more efficient solution for variable data print preparation and output than existing offerings. HYBRID Software’s VDP implementation is an easy to use solution for labels and packaging that changes text, images, barcodes, colors, and other elements linked to variable data sources, producing an optimized file for fast printing on all digital presses. It can be used to turn any PDF package or label design into a VDP design by simply indicating which elements are dynamic and linking them to the data source—without having to create a template for the label designer, first. HYBRID VDP is applied at the prepress stage, not in the pressroom, eliminating the up-front template creation that slows down other VDP solutions.

“LABELEXPO Brussels has been a key event for HYBRID Software for many years, but this event set a high bar,” stated Guido Van der Schueren, Chairman of HYBRID Software. “I was very pleased to see the acceptance of our new VDP technology as validation of our strategy to continue bringing innovation to the labels and packaging industry.”
