Höft & Wessel and German Railways agrees on a longtime supply contract for more than 3.200 ticket machines
The ticket machine developed by the business unit Almex offers an easy to use and convenient user interface with its bright touch screen, the support of all current payment methods and the ergonomic position of the passenger operated elements. Further, state of the art PCs enable an overall faster mode of operation.
With the new generation of ticket vending machines, the German Railways modernise this important sales channel and offer its passengers best service in the area of self service ticket sales. In order to gain a high availability of the ticket vending machines and reduce the operation and service costs, the almex.station are equipped with a further increased protection against burglary and vandalism.
The COO of Almex Thomas Wolf comments: "This order is a further mile stone in our longtime co-operation with the German Railways and the result of continuous product innovation. This supply contract is an excellent basis for the further growth of the business unit Almex."
