HMF Smart Solutions successfully presented its new DIB-R6 SMART TETRA base station at Critical Communications World (CCW) 2026 in London. The product launch attracted strong interest from visitors and industry professionals at the HMF exhibition stand.

The presentation began with an introduction by Thomas Conrath, Business Development Manager at HMF Smart Solutions, who highlighted the key benefits and technological innovations of the new base station. Throughout the exhibition, visitors are able to experience the DIB-R6 SMART in live operation and discuss its capabilities directly with HMF’s TETRA specialists and members of the R&D team who personally were involved in its development.

Engineered in Germany, the DIB-R6 SMART expands the ACCESSNET®-T portfolio with a compact, high-performance outdoor TETRA base station designed for demanding mission-critical environments. Combining advanced SDR and multi-carrier technology with a robust, lightweight design, the solution delivers outstanding deployment flexibility, high energy efficiency and long-term operational reliability. Additional highlights include advanced cybersecurity capabilities, seamless integration into existing ACCESSNET®-T networks and support for the evolution towards converged mission-critical communication infrastructures (MCX).

The DIB-R6 SMART demonstrates our long-term commitment to TETRA technology and the future of mission-critical communications,” said Hauke Holm, CTO at HMF. “It combines performance, efficiency and flexibility in a compact outdoor platform and helps operators modernize their networks while reducing total cost of ownership.
