Für Privatanwender, die ein solide ausgestattetes Notebook in edlem, klassischen Design suchen, bringt HP zwei neue Geräte auf den Markt: das HP G62 und HP G72. Ausgestattet mit Intel Core i3 Prozessor und der ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5430 Grafikkarte mit 512 MB VRAM sowie DirectX11 Unterstützung sind die HP Notebooks der passende Begleiter für Privatnutzer, die ein Notebook mit guter Leistung zu einem fairen Preis suchen. Besonders beim Thema Multimedia lassen die neuen HP Notebooks der G-Serie keine Wünsche offen. Mit dem Lightscribe DVD±RW Laufwerk, der serienmäßigen Webcam mit integriertem Mikrofon und den Altec Lansing Lautsprechern wird die Nutzung des Notebooks zum wahren Entertainment-Erlebnis. Zusätzlich bieten die beiden neuen HP Notebooks ein 5in-1 Kartenlesegerät sowie eine HDMI 1.3 Schnittstelle. Ob Filme, Videos aus dem Internet oder Fotos: das quecksilberfreie, stromsparendes HP BrightView Display mit LED-Hintergrundbeleuchtung sorgt für exzellente Bilder. Die Notebooks HP G62 und HP G72 sind ab April 2010 zu einem Preis ab 549 Euro erhältlich (unverbindliche Preisempfehlung, inklusive Mehrwertsteuer).
