Hess GmbH Licht + Form, an internationally leading manufacturer of designed outdoor luminaires and site furnishings based in Villingen-Schwenningen (Germany), returns stronger than ever to the French market.
At the trade fair "Salon des Maires" taking place from 25 - 27 November 2014 in Paris, Hess introduces its new sales team as well as a selection of its latest generation of luminaires and high-quality site furnishings for the design of urban spaces. Visitors find Hess in Hall 3 at Stand G 55.
With five dedicated sales representatives, Hess supports its French customers in all matters relating to outdoor lighting and site furnishings. Close proximity to customers and quick decision making processes will strengthen customer relationships in the French market and further increase market penetration. Here Hess strongly believes in personal contact with customers and in fulfilling individual customer needs and project specific requirements.
The new sales representatives advise and support town councils, planners and architects during the implementation of projects and together with them develop holistic lighting and design concepts as well as special customised solutions characteristic of Hess.

With VAREDO, designed by French designer Jean-Marc Schneider, Hess created a new generation of luminaires and site furnishings that gives lighting designers and landscape architects maximum freedom when designing urban spaces. The VAREDO family stands out by its unique expression of design, feel, and workmanship. It comprises outdoor lighting, illuminating and barrier bollards, a bench in diverse variants, bicycle racks and waste receptacles. This allows the implementation of holistic design solutions for public spaces and varying functional requirements.
AVANGARDO 2 - The new number 1
The AVANGARDO 2 line is predestined for holistic lighting concepts: These products for applications around the house are characterised by their lasting quality, durability, reliability and state-of-the-art LED technology. The modular illuminating column - CITY ELEMENTS - offers far more functionalities than only illumination. These multifunctional columns with individually combinable separate elements are available with the most innovative LED technology (XICATO inside). Diverse additional functions and supply solutions for inner-city requirements such as for example electricity and water supply, for the installation of a camera with WLAN transmission to a mobile device or for attractive light projections to façades make these columns particularly attractive.
SITE FURNISHINGS - Aesthetics and function
Site furnishing products by Hess, such as the displayed SERPO tree grate and the FANO tree guard, are designed with the toughest conditions in mind and at the same time fulfil the highest design requirements. The use of high-quality materials gives the products a unique finish. Sophisticated processing techniques emphasise this high quality and ensure the best possible resistance to weather conditions and corrosion.
