Hess GmbH Licht + Form, an internationally leading manufacturer of designed outdoor luminaires and site furnishings based in Villingen-Schwenningen (Germany), presents its latest product generation of LED design luminaires and site furnishings for the holistic design of urban spaces at the trade fair "Dag van de openbare ruimte", taking place from February 4 - 5, 2015 in Brussels. The trade fair is one of the largest public events for the public sector in Belgium. You will find Hess at stand 5.08.
The displayed innovative product highlights and solution concepts fully reflect the company's motto "Hess - We design cities" and are characterised by a successful blend of timeless design, traditional craftsmanship, and the most innovative LED technology carrying the Hess stamp of quality - Quality "Made in Germany".
New and previous award winners: DALVIK - LED design luminaires and site furnishings With the newly developed DALVIK product family, Hess has expanded its portfolio with a completely new collection of LED design luminaires and site furnishings for holistic design concepts. Thanks to variable pole adapters for different pole diameters and variable fitting options, the DALVIK luminaire fulfils various lighting requirements.
Even before its official market launch in January 2015, the DALVIK luminaire made quite an entry: It was awarded the "Iconic Awards 2014 - Winner" and the international design prize Baden-Württemberg "Focus Silver 2014". Both prizes acknowledge the independent expression of design and the high-quality finish of this new product. The design luminaire is supplemented with matching aluminium benches with high-quality Kambala wood slats. In the coming months, a successive expansion of site furnishings for the DALVIK family is planned.
AVANGARDO 2 - The new number 1 around the house
The AVANGARDO 2 line is predestined for holistic lighting concepts: These products for applications around the house are characterised by their lasting quality, durability, reliability and state-of-the-art LED technology. The luminaire families consist of several product groups, for example in-ground and wall luminaires or illuminating bollards with uniform design elements. CITY ELEMENTS - Multi-functionality at its best
The functionalities of the modular illuminating column CITY ELEMENTS offer far more than only illumination. The multifunctional columns, with individually combinable separate elements, are available with the most innovative LED technology (XICATO inside) and offer diverse additional functions and supply solutions for inner-city requirements such as for example electricity and water supply, for the installation of a camera for security areas, for emergency call functions, attractive light projections, Christmas lighting or e-mobility functions.
Site furnishings - design and function
Site furnishing products by Hess, such as the displayed SERPO tree grate, the FANO tree guard, and the PUNTO waste receptacle, are designed with the toughest conditions in mind and at the same time fulfil the highest design requirements. The use of high-quality materials gives the products a unique finish. Sophisticated processing techniques emphasise this high quality and ensure the best possible resistance to weather conditions.
Special solutions - characteristic for Hess
At the trade fair, Hess also displays a very special strength of the company: Project specific and customised (lighting) solutions. The special customised solutions and product adaptations by Hess support architects, planers and town councils with the design of public spaces and give them identity. Using the example of an implemented special luminaire project for the city of Doha (Qatar), Hess documents the impressive combination of traditional craftsmanship and state-of-the-art technology. The new Hess sales manager for the Belgian market, Paul Denoo, is looking forward to the trade fair and numerous customer contacts. Since January 2015, Paul Denoo is the new contact person for city councils, planers, and architects regarding lighting and site furnishings and develops, together with the customers, holistic lighting and design concepts including the special customised solutions characteristic of Hess. In view of the further strengthening of the market presence of Hess in Belgium an expansion of the sales team is planned soon.
