Temperature-flexible: The spring band clamp

Securely fasten air and fuel circuits

(PresseBox) (Heusenstamm, )
The classic tools for workshops: The spring band clamp available from the Elparts range stands out first and foremost with its flexible holding mechanism. If the temperature rises in the application area, the fluid system diameter expands – the clamp adapts to the increased cross-section. The reverse applies to cold environments. This means that all air or fuel circuits in a vehicle are always securely attached. The optimum hold provided by the systems also creates a further advantage: This attachment solution is more durable as pipes do not then chafe or rub. The galvanised steel of the spring band clamp manufactured to DIN/ISO 3021 guarantees temperature resistance between -40 and 200 degrees Celsius. The clamps can be ordered in different sizes ranging from 13 to 55 millimetres (nominal diameter), so ensuring they are suitable for all standard vehicle models.

To make our range of spring band clamps even more attractive, we now additionally offer the most common sizes in a practical assortment box. All clamps can of course also be ordered as a refill pack, which naturally fits in the relevant compartment of this box. The box additionally includes an empty compartment, which can be used to store any other items. The assortment also contains a handy pairs of pliers to facilitate fitting and removal of clamps.

In addition, the parts manufacturer Herth+Buss offers another pair of special hose clamp pliers including a flexible Bowden cable, which is perfect for releasing spring band clamps in tight spots or awkward places in the engine bay. Major benefit: The span width can be secured in any position using the locking mechanism and held without applying any force.
