New in the Elparts range: The NRGkick for every electric vehicle

Charge quickly and safely anywhere without being reliant on a wall box

(PresseBox) (Heusenstamm, )
Herth+Buss’ NRGkick 32 A charging unit in the Elparts product range now offers workshops and end consumers charging options that extend far beyond public and private charging stations. With a charging output of up to 22 kW, a suitably equipped electric vehicle like the Renault ZOE with a rating of 24 kWh can be almost fully charged within an hour at a high-voltage socket – and that doesn’t involve having to seek out a charging station specifically intended for electric vehicles.

Electric vehicles are starting to take over our roads: although this rise is gradual, it is unstoppable. A low charging-station density and excessively long charging times are seen as being among the most significant obstacles to the uptake of such eco-friendly vehicles. With the mobile NRGkick charging station, parts specialist Herth+Buss offers a solution to the charging difficulties that prevail. Its 22 kW performance easily matches a stationary wall box without the disadvantages of being fixed in place. Electric current is available everywhere; NRGkick just makes it accessible to electric cars. You might say that the wall box has migrated from the wall of a house into the charger cable. With the optional adapter set, vehicle occupants can enjoy unrestricted mobile flexibility.

The technical features of the NRGkick speak for themselves:
  • the charging current can be easily adjusted using the push-button on the charging station.
  • An integrated residual-current-protection mechanism (AC 30 mA, DC 6 mA) for direct and alternating residual currents ensures maximum safety. In the case of many wall boxes, this needs to be bought as an optional extra, often at great expense.
  • Detection of the NRGkick takes place automatically. Thanks to the adapter set with CEE 16 A plugs (red and blue) and a safety contact as accessories, it is possible to charge at any conventional socket, whether 1- or 3-phase.
  • The NRGkick charger cable is protected against theft and tampering, and boasts extremely compact dimensions.
  • The TÜV-certified and CE-compliant cable features an energy-measurement module and is optionally available in variants with or without Bluetooth. The cable with Bluetooth even includes a convenient smartphone control option. Using the free NRGkick app, the charging data such as performance, power, voltage, current, charging costs and range can be viewed at any time. What’s more, the app also controls the charging station.
  • The charging current can even be adjusted during the charging process and set at increments of 1 A between 6 A and 32 A.
Ideal, fast and safe charging at all existing sockets – with the NRGkick, these exact requirements are fulfilled.
