High temperatures, high abrasion and environmental factors like moisture and radiation complicate the safe protection of cables and wires. Despite challenging environmental conditions HellermannTyton's new braided sleeving can guarantee the maximum safety of cable harnesses. Featuring excellent material properties Helagaine HEGMAN and HEGMANWO are appropriate for the military, aerospace, railway or shipbuilding industries.

The excellent performance of Helagaine HEGMAN and HEGMANWO makes them ideal for applications under extreme environmental, mechanical or chemical conditions. HEGMAN and HEGMANWO are flexible and flame resistant braided sleeving made of a meta-aramid material (NOMEX®). Due to its special NOMEX® material HEGMAN is especially suitable for applications under severe conditions. The high-quality material of HEGMAN withstands fire, temperatures up to +240° C and even gamma radiation. Furthermore HEGMAN has high abrasion resistance. Its special yarn structure avoids ingress of fluids and pollutants. Helagaine HEGMANWO is additionally waterand oil repellent.

Helagaine HEGMAN and HEGMANWO combine an excellent protection and resistance to environmental influence with easy installation. Due to its high rate of expansion, Helagaine can be used to protect cables and connectors that are already fixed. It adapts to very irregular shapes and sizes. To achieve an optimal fit, the braided sleeving is available in 9 different sizes for application diameters of 1mm to 40mm.
