Termine für die Maker Faires 2017

Anzahl der Maker-Festivals wächst

Ob 1-Tages-Event oder komplettes Wochenende mit vorgeschaltetem Schülertag: Die bunten DIY-Veranstaltungen gewinnen immer mehr an Zuspruch. Sowohl Aussteller- als auch Besucherzahlen steigen stetig. Die Maker Media GmbH konnte als Veranstalter für die Maker Faires im deutschsprachigen Raum dieses Jahr über 75.000 Gäste begrüßen. Für 2017 plant Maker Media gemeinsam mit ihren Partnern derzeit neun Maker Faires.

Folgende Termine stehen jetzt schon fest:

„Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit der Entwicklung, alle Zeichen stehen auf Wachstum“, sagt Daniel Rohlfing, Senior-Produkt­manager bei Maker Media, der unter anderem für das Lizenz­geschäft in der DACH-Region verantwortlich ist. Neben den genannten Maker Faires plant Maker Media für 2017 weitere Veranstaltungen, etwa eine große Maker Faire für den Nor­den Deutschlands, eine in Stuttgart sowie erneut an den Standorten Köln, Linz, Steyr und Zürich. „Darüber hinaus“, so Rohlfing, „sind wir für das kommende Jahr gemeinsam mit dem buchreport in Gesprächen mit weiteren Buchhandlun­gen, die ihrem Publikum ergänzend zur Fachliteratur prakti­sches Wissen über moderne DIY-Technik vermitteln wollen.“

Wer sich für die Maker-Bewegung interessiert, kann sich auf der Webseite www.maker-faire.de auf dem Laufenden halten. Ein monatlicher Newsletter informiert über aktuelle Themen, neue Termine und allgemeine Do-it-Yourself-Nachrichten. Maker und Unternehmen, die ihre Projekte und Produkte auf den Festivals präsentieren möchten, finden hier wichtige Hinweise zur Anmeldung.
