heat 11 obtains follow-up order for PEMEX power plant in Mexico

(PresseBox) (Bielefeld, )
heat 11, specialist for industrial process heat, heat transfer and electric power generation from Bielefeld, Germany, has received another major order from Mexico. For a gas power plant of 300 MW, heat 11 develops and constructs the third line of a gas heating system.

"This is a nice confirmation of our work!" said authorized representative Stephan Kraus after the contract was signed in Mexico City. According to the company it is again an order in the millions, however the parties agreed to keep the exact contract amount confidential.

The power plant is able to deliver 300 MW of electricity and up to 800 tons of hot steam per hour for a gas treatment complex in Mexico. Furthermore the plant will feed excessive electrical energy into the Mexican power network. heat 11 had already provided two lines of this power plant with a heating system and for the third line to be constructed, takes over the engineering as well as the manufacturing, the construction supervision and the commissioning of the heating plant for the gas treatment complex. "Our system is for heating and drying of the gas production. This is absolutely essential for the further processing of the gas", explains sales director Juan Cuestas the function of the plant.

Decisive for the placing according to the company were promptness as well as the experience and competence in solution of the heat 11 engineers. In addition, the customer was already very satisfied at the first order which had been concluded in 2013.

According to the company, heat 11 is very well positioned in the field of energy supply. With the economic growth the hunger for energy grows increasingly in the newly industrialized countries in Asia, Middle and South America and this offers the plant specialist in Bielefeld good business opportunities both in the field of conventional power plants and at thermal solar and biomass power plants.
