Umsetzung des Brennstoffemissionshandels (BEHG) im Unternehmen

Am 29.11.2019 hat der Bundesrat das nicht zustimmungsbedürftige Gesetz über einen nationalen Zertifikatehandel für Brennstoffemissionen (Brennstoffemissionshandelsgesetz – BEHG) gebilligt.

Mit der Einführung des BEHG wird eine Bepreisung von CO2 für die Sektoren Wärme und Verkehr eingeführt. Dieses sieht vor, dass die Inverkehrbringer von Brennstoffen ab 2021 an einem Emissionshandelssystem teilnehmen müssen. Verantwortliche aus den Bereichen müssen für die Emissionen der in Verkehr gebrachten Brennstoffe Zertifikate erwerben und abgeben.

Für den Vollzug des Brennstoffemissionshandelsgesetz ist die Deutsche Emissionshandelsstelle im Umweltbundesamt (DEHSt) benannt worden.
