Windkraftanlagen die im Meer oder in größeren Seen errichtet werden, besitzen, sobald sie sich in tieferen Gewässern befinden, ein schwimmendes Fundament. Es gibt eine Reihe von Projekten in verschiedenen Planungsstadien, bei denen bislang keine negativen Folgen für die Meerestiere oder für die Vogelwelt beobachtet wurden. Das Haus der Technik hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, in dem Seminar „SCHWIMMENDE OFFSHORE WINDKRAFTANLAGEN – FLOATING TURBINES“ am 29.2.2020 in Essen die aktuellen Entwicklungsanforderungen für schwimmende Offshore-Windkraftanlagen zu vermitteln.

Die Teilnehmer (Mitarbeiter aus Bau-, Entwicklungs- und Zertifizierungsunternehmen zur Entwicklung und Design-Verifikation von innovativen schwimmenden und fest stehenden Offshore-Windkraftanlagen) erhalten Kompaktwissen hinsichtlich Physik und Technologie schwimmender Windturbinen, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf die aktuellen Entwicklungsanforderungen liegt.

In dem Seminar sollen die physikalischen Grundlagen und Entwicklungsverfahren diskutiert sowie Anregungen zur Erweiterung der Design-Standards gegeben werden.
