Im Anschluss an den Batterietag veranstaltet das Essener Haus der Technik, gemeinsam mit dem Batterieforschungszentrum MEET der Westfälischen Wilhems-Universität Münster, dem Helmholtz-Institut Münster (Forschungszentrum Jülich) und dem Institut für Stromrichtertechnik und Elektrische Anriebe ISEA von der RWTH Aachen am 3. und 4. April 2019 das 11. internationale Symposium „Advanced Battery Power”. Die fachlich-wissenschaftliche Bedeutung der Tagung reicht weit über das Thema der automobilen Nutzung hinaus. Kraftwerk Batterie hat sich für Ingenieure, Forscher, Entwickler und Anwender zu einem wertvollen Branchentreff für den wissenschaftlichen Austausch entwickelt. 55 Vorträge und mehr als 160 Posterpräsentationen werden zum Erfolg dieser englischsprachigen Konferenz beitragen, zu der mehr als 500 Teilnehmer erwartet werden.
