has·to·be and EVBox launch new roaming partnership

Access to Public Charging Infrastructure for eCar Drivers in Europe Further Simplified

(PresseBox) (Radstadt, )
The publicly accessible charging network available to MSP customers of has·to·be grows by 20,000 additional charging points through the connection to the Dutch eMobility solution provider EVBox. In return, EVBox charge card holders will receive access to more than 8,000 has·to·be COMMUNITY charging points. Two strong European players are thus driving forward the connection of European charging infrastructure.

has·to·be and EVBox - a Partnership with Thousands of Profiteers

"As one of the first-movers in eMobility, EVBox has made a significant contribution to the establishment of charging infrastructure across Europe. The connection and partnership with EVBox means a substantial increase in the network of publicly accessible charging points for the MSP customers of has·to·be. We are delighted to provide together with EVBox a solid blueprint for cross-provider cooperation in the interest of EV drivers.”—Lukas Bauer, (Head of Partner Management at has·to·be)

“As EVBox we are on the mission towards a zero-emission future. On our way we are constantly onboarding new partners to join us on this mission. We are happy to announce the partnership with has·to·be, giving EV drivers with an EVBox charging card access to 8,000 charging points in has·to·be’s network throughout Europe. Moreover, MSP customers of has·to·be get access to over 20,000 public EVBox charging points in Europe. This way we hope to move eMobility forward and encourage more people to turn to electric driving.” - Cecile Post (Business Developer, eMobility Solutions at EVBox)

Interoperability is a Key Factor for a Positive Customer Experience

has·to·be and EVBox share the conviction that interoperability is essential for publicly accessible charging infrastructure in order to achieve high customer acceptance. has·to·be will continue to work in the interest of its customers to ensure that charging in Europe is easy and customer-friendly as possible. In Central Europe, the importance of roaming is already widely understood. In other regions such as the UK and Eastern Europe, however, there is still a lot of convincing to be done to ensure that the issues of interoperability, easy charging and positive customer experience are closely linked.
