be.ENERGISED, the eMobility platform created by has·to·be, has implemented the OCPP 2.0.1 Open Charge Point Protocol in order to anticipate future requirements of the eMobility industry. Yet again, this underlines has·to·be’s position as a leading innovator in terms of industry standards. Furthermore, it reinforces the hardware independence of the be.ENERGISED operating system.

The Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP 2.0.1) has been implemented within be.ENERGISED since April 2020. Besides various enhancements in terms of manufacturer-independent communication between charging points and charging infrastructure management systems, be.ENERGISED customers can now profit – above all – from secure firmware updates, security protocols, and event notifications within the administration of a charging fleet.
