Südafrika: Alstom-Züge fahren mit HARTING Technologie

Partnerschaft mit Hiconnex Industrial / Fertigung von Han-Modular® Steckverbindern vor Ort / Win-Win-Win-Situation für alle beteiligten Unternehmen

Die HARTING Technologiegruppe baut ihre Geschäftsaktivitäten in Südafrika aus. Seit kurzem werden Han-Modular® Steckverbinder für die Zugsparte des französischen Industriekonzerns Alstom gefertigt. HARTING, mit einer Vertriebsniederlassung in Johannesburg vertreten, hat dazu mit Hiconnex Industrial einen Partner gefunden, mit dem die Technologiegruppe die Anforderungen an nationalen Vorgaben vollumfänglich und mit der bekannten HARTING Qualität bedient.

Hiconnex Industrial, ein Distributor von Kabeln und Steckverbindern, übernimmt die komplette Montage der Han-Modular® Steckverbinder, die in Alstom-Zügen verbaut werden. Die Alstom-Züge werden dann an das südafrikanische, staatliche Verkehrsunternehmen PRASA ausgeliefert.

„Diese Partnerschaft ist für alle beteiligten Unternehmen eine Win-Win-Win-Situation: Für Alstom, für Hiconnex Industrial und für HARTING“, sagt Bernd Fischer, General Manager Corporate Regional Management bei HARTING. Zudem unterstützen alle drei Unternehmen mit dem Projekt die heimische Wirtschaft in Südafrika.

„Wir freuen uns, dass wir Alstom von unserer Expertise und unseren Qualitätsprodukten im Bereich Bahn überzeugen konnten“, sagt Chris Brand, General Manager bei Hiconnex Industrial. Langfristig wollen HARTING und Hiconnex Industrial ihre Partnerschaft ausbauen.
