Innovative 2-colour joint sealing tape from HANNO for joints with direct weather exposure

The company Hanno Werk GmbH & Co. KG from Laatzen near Hannover presents a top-of-the-range newcomer to the Hannoband® product line: Hannoband® BG1M.

(PresseBox) (Laatzen, )
„With the new Hannoband®BG1M, HANNO continues the new development of joint sealing tapes with the patented membrane technology on a very high level“, Markus Fehrmann, HANNO Sales Manager for Building Products, says. „In addition to the very successful multi-function tapes, it now also finds application in the traditional façade and window sealing tapes.“ New features include:

Two colours: The tape has two different visible sides. The membrane technology makes it possible to design one side grey, the other side black. This enables designers, processors and also end customers to use the two colour finishes systematically or spontaneously - and that with the same high quality.

Larger joint application range: HANNO’s membrane technology makes the tape suitable for a wider range of applications to joints. For example, the joints common with window or facade construction can be covered with not more than 1 or 2 band sizes.

Both aspects save distributors and processors unnecessary warehousing cost and make work at the building site easier; the risk of using an undersize tape on the site is smaller. This distinctly reduces the risk of later damage. In contrast with many joint sealing tapes for the widest possible range of joints in the market, Hannoband®BG1M provides more than only resistance to driving rain: It is intended for the permanent sealing of joints directly exposed to weather.

Added to the well-known properties of Hannoband® products has been a further improvement of the adhesiveness of the glue and easier working in existing joints.
