GUSTAV KLEIN wurde 1948 in Schongau gegründet. 1969 entstand in Österreich ein Zweigwerk in Inzing, bei Innsbruck. In beiden Werken beschäftigt die Firma Gustav Klein 220 Mitarbeiter.

GUSTAV KLEIN entwickelt und fertigt Unterbrechungsfreie Stromversorgungsanlagen USV für DC- und AC-Versorgung bis 4 MW, Frequenzwandler, Gleichrichter, Wechselrichter, DC-Wandler und Netzspannungsregler.

Für Bahnbereich (stationär) und Krankenhäuser (Operationsräume, ZSV-Anlagen nach VDE 0100 Teil 710), Industrieanwendungen, Kraftwerke, Chemische Industrie, Ölindustrie, sowie Prüf- und Laborstromversorgungen.
