Ralf Becker, born in 1974, is acknowledged as a proven expert in the sector and in recent years headed the “Analysis & Strategy” organisational unit in product marketing at T-Online, the former subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom AG and Europe’s largest ISP. Most recently he was responsible there for the portfolio strategy and strategic pricing of the Internet giant, as well as for the business unit planning for the key business, VoIP and Internet access.
After studying at the Ruhr University Bochum and the University of Cologne, Mr Becker obtained a master’s degree in business administration. He began his career as management consultant for the Horváth & Partner consultancy company in Munich where he was responsible for optimisation, controlling and management in media, telecommunications and Internet companies. Mr Becker joined T-Online at the end of 2001, initially as manager for strategic pricing. In 2003 he became senior manager with extensive competences in strategic marketing and budget responsibility for the Internet access business.
As new member of the management team of Greenwich Consulting Deutschland, Ralf Becker will predominantly advise clients from the German-speaking countries on questions of market strategy. The client focus of Greenwich Consulting means that the company management is also involved in the day-to-day project work, and is thus able to bring its expertise actively and personally into the consulting mandate.
