Der thailändische Transportspezialist Silamas mit Stammsitz in Samuthprakan zählt über 550 Goldhofer-Achslinien zu seinem Fuhrpark und ist einer der größten und wichtigsten Kunden des Memminger Weltmarktführers für Schwerlast- und Spezialtransporte in Asien. Bei der Umsetzung anspruchsvoller Transportaufgaben arbeiten die Unternehmen schon seit vielen Jahren regelmäßig zusammen, um aus dem breit angelegten Goldhofer-Equipment die optimale Fahrzeugkonfiguration für die jeweilige Herausforderung zusammenzustellen. Silamas meisterte unlängst die Verladung zweier extrem schwergewichtiger Abgasreinigungssysteme für das Kohlekraftwerk Takehara Thermal Power Station in Japan. Das Kraftwerk besteht aus drei Anlagen und gehört mit einer Auslegungskapazität von 1.300 Megawatt zu einem der wichtigsten Energielieferanten in der Region Hiroshima. Die jeweils 2.100 t schweren und mit den Maßen 16 x 36,1 x 36 m extrem großen Anlagenteile wurden im thailändischen Sattahip Port von Slot-Nankai Co., Ltd. gebaut. Vom dortigen Werksgelände aus galt es für das Silamas-Transportteam unter der Leitung von Engineering Manager Teeraphap Juntorn, die Abgasreinigungssysteme auf einen 800 m entfernten Schwerlastkahn zu verladen. „Aufgrund des hohen Gewichts und der enormen Ausmaße der Anlagenteile haben wir uns schließlich für zwei 24-achsige Parallelkombinationen entschieden, die als Verbund über einen Operator gesteuert wurden“, erklärt Teeraphap Juntorn. Die erste Parallelkombination bestand aus 2 x PST/SLE 16 + THP/SL 8, die Konfiguration der zweiten P-Kombination aus 1 x PST/SL 4 + THP/SL 20 sowie 1 x PST/SL 6 + THP/SL 18 von Goldhofer. Die PST/SL-Serie des Memminger Unternehmens ist mit einer Zugkraft von 160 kN pro angetriebener Achslinie und einem besonders stabilen Rahmen eines der belastbarsten Schwerlastmodule überhaupt, während die THP/SL-Module dank eines hohen Biegemoments ihre Einsatzstärke vor allem bei konzentrierten Ladungen voll ausspielen können. Teeraphap Juntorn sagt: „Vor allem der Einsatz der Goldhofer Hydronic hat mich bei diesem Einsatz überzeugt. So konnten wir die Steuerung des gesamten Fahrzeugverbundes mit einem einzigen Operator realisieren.“ Die besondere Schwierigkeit lag nämlich darin, dass die unterschiedlichen Fahrzeugtypen auf einander abgestimmt werden mussten, um eine synchronisierte Fahrzeugeinheit zu bilden. Dies wurde über das Goldhofer Hydronic-System erreicht. Hierbei handelt es sich um eine computergesteuerte hydraulische Lenkungs-Bedieneinheit, die es ermöglicht, stangengelenkte THP/SL-Module mit der elektronischen Lenkung der Selbstfahrer zu synchronisieren. Dank der Hydronic-Technologie konnte der insgesamt 2.500 t schwere Transport passgenau das erste kritische Manöver zum Ende der Transportstrecke bewältigen, als es galt, eine Rampe mit knapp fünf Prozent Steigung zu befahren. Zwischen der Rampe und der Barge herrschte zudem ein Höhenunterschied von mehr als 30 cm, der jedoch mit dem Hub der Goldhofer-Modulfahrzeuge mühelos ausgeglichen werden konnte. Die zweite Herausforderung bestand in der anschließenden Auffahrt auf die Barge. Aufgrund des geringen Platzangebots an der Auffahrt musste der rund 40 m lange Transporter in einem schrägen Winkel auf das Transportschiff auffahren. Bei diesem Manöver entpuppten sich das Silamas-Transportteam und das Schiffspersonal als präzise interagierende Einheit, sodass das Transportgut in der Mitte der Barge punktgenau auf das dort angebrachte Fundament abgesetzt werden konnte. „Aufgrund der durchdachten Vorbereitung konnten wir den Projektzeitplan mühelos einhalten und beide Anlagenteile innerhalb einer Woche verladen. Es ist immer großartig, wenn gleich bei der ersten Transportfahrt die Zusammenarbeit verschiedener Teams auf Anhieb so gut funktioniert“, sagt Teeraphap Juntorn.
