Zahlreiche Niederlassungen auf allen fünf Kontinenten: Die britische ALE Heavylift aus Hixon, Staffordshire, hat sich seit ihrer Gründung 1983 zu einem der bedeutendsten internationalen Schwerlastunternehmen entwickelt. Der Erfolg des Branchenriesen wird dabei seit vielen Jahren von Goldhofer-Transportlösungen begleitet. Mehr als 850 Schwerlastachslinien, darunter ein so genanntes Widening Equipment speziell für den australischen Markt, diverse Selbstfahrer, Sattelpritschen für den Windflügeltransport sowie umfangreiches Sonderzubehör wie Kesselbrücken oder Tiefbettbrücken sorgen in den weltweiten ALE-Fuhrparks seit vielen Jahren für Bewegung. Gerade erst wurden für die Niederlassung in Kasachstan zwei sechsachsige ADDRIVE Schwerlastmodule und für den argentinischen Markt 20 modulare THP/SL Achslinien an ALE ausgeliefert. David Purslow (General Manager – Global Operations ALE): „Die ADDRIVE-Technologie von Goldhofer ist ideal für unsere Transportaktivitäten in Kasachstan geeignet. Die Schwerlastmodule überzeugen uns vor allem aufgrund ihrer Vielseitigkeit: Die Verbindung eines Selbstfahrers und eines Anhängerzuges in einem einzigen Fahrzeug bietet uns höchste Flexibilität für die Bewältigung unterschiedlichster Transportanforderungen." Neben den Allrounder-Qualitäten der beiden 6-Achser schätzen die Transportprofis von ALE vor allem das innovative hydro-mechanische Antriebssystem. Die Möglichkeit einer kompletten Entkopplung im gezogenen Modus bis zu einer Geschwindigkeit von 80 km/h reduziert dabei den Verschleiß der Getriebekomponenten selbst bei maximaler Lastenaufnahme auf ein Minimum. Durch das mechanische Auskuppeln werden Überhitzungen an den Antriebskomponenten vermieden und so Wartungsaufwendungen effektiv vermindert.Erste Einsätze mit den ADDRIVES stehen in Kürze an, sobald diese in Kasachstan eintreffen. Sollten sich die Module hier dauerhaft bewähren, plant ALE die Anschaffung weiterer dieser Systeme für verschiedene Standorte.
