Global Navigation Systems - GNS GmbH presents its latest traffic module, the TC6000. The new generation combines four integrated wireless functions: GPS, BT, and optionally TMC/FM reception or FM transmission. Manufacturers of portable navigation systems benefit from an innovative and compact allinone solution that provides essential functions in a minimum of space at an unbeatable price.

The TC6000 has a very low power consumption and it works with just 1.8 volts without any impairment of the performance. Data is transferred via a highspeed UART with data rates up to 4 Mbps. GNS additionally supplies free Windows CE drivers fro GPS, TMC, BT and FM. Thirdparty suppliers support the BT functions with BT software and echo cancellation. Furthermore, the TC6000 features smart fixTM technology which greatly reduces the TTFF time.
Developer kits and sample quantities of the TC6000 combo module are available at GNS GmbH from mid-May 2010.
