GIG Karasek has once again received an order from a confidential customer in Asia to supply a mechanical vapor recompression (MVR) system for the recovery of valuable solvents at a production site in Thailand. The new system will significantly boost the plant's production capacity. Start-up is planned for the first quarter of 2026.
The new MVR system will separate a solvent/oil mixture, recovering the solvent with a purity level of 99.9%, while maintaining low operating costs and minimal cooling water usage.
The scope of supply from GIG Karasek includes not only the delivery of key components but also electrical instruments for measurement and control including a process control system, pumps, heat exchangers, steel structure, and on-site assembly.
The first solvent recovery system at this production site was successfully started-up back in 2018. Due to the positive experience and proven technology, our customer has once again chosen GIG Karasek, reaffirming the company’s comprehensive capabilities in global projects with site assembly.
