With the Levolan Duosync sliding door system, GEZE has developed a new and impressive method of aesthetically designing manual double-leaf all-glass sliding doors for interior use and moving them with ease. It can be used to simultaneously open and close both door leaves with only one handle. The compact Levolan Duosync system can be used to synchronise double-leaf systems with doors of up to 100 kilograms. This makes the Levolan Duosync a very good option for large opening widths with up to two times the 1,500 millimetre leaf.
Based on the properties of the Levolan system, the Levolan Duosync also offers the GEZE Curve Design. With a runner height of just 63 millimetres, it fits seamlessly into any environment. The installation and adjustment of the Levolan Duosync system is carried out without interfering with the appearance of the all-glass sliding doors. The panes are guided directly in the glass clamping roller carriages, thus rendering suspension parts and additional facing redundant. The advantageous positioning in the runner means that the installation components cannot be seen from below. The deflection pulleys are also fixed and easily adjusted from below. This reduces planning expenditure and lowers the costs of glass purchases. In addition, the maintenance of the system is made easier since profile elements do not need to be removed and reinstalled later. The installation of the deflection pulleys is quick and fast so that retro-fitting of existing systems is possible without problems. The Duosync accessory kit can be used with standard roller carriages and stops. All-glass sliding doors with the Levolan Duosync can be implemented using toughened safety glass with a thickness of 8, 10 or 12 millimetres and, using an additional set, also in conjunction with laminated safety glass up to 12,7 millimetres thick. The door leaf can be adjusted in height using the roller carriage so that the sliding door can be matched perfectly to the on-site construction conditions.
