The GEZE LED sensor button provides touch-sensitive operational convenience

(PresseBox) (Leonberg, )
For the reliable operation of an automatic door, the choice of the appropriate activation element is of considerable importance. Only the correct selection enables automatic doors to be absolutely barrier-free and convenient to use. The design-oriented and robust LED sensor button offers intuitive and simple operation of all GEZE automatic drives. Considerable strength is not required to activate the button, simple touching it is sufficient. The LED sensor button can be used both indoors and outdoors and can easily be seen in the dark thanks to the LED illumination. In order to ensure that the sensor button can also be used by people with reduced vision, the button has been given tactile Braille lettering. If the button is used to activate the system, this can be indicated by both an acoustic or optical signal. This makes operation easier for people with a limited eyesight or hearing. The button is water-proof, impact-resistant and protected from vandalism which makes it ideal for use outdoors. GEZE automatic doors can easily be retro-fitted with the LED sensor button. Mounting the sensor is very convenient. Using a mounting ring the sensor can even then be easily mounted and connected if no flush-mounted socket is avaibable.

The GEZE LED sensor button in the exclusive glass design

For automatic door systems that need to meet high expectations with regard to design and aesthetics, GEZE offers the LED sensor button as a glass solution according to the project. All components of the button that are visible when it is installed are made of glass for this solution, for example, in conjunction with integrated all-glass systems, a clean and uniform look. The tactile Braille lettering aside, this special solution offers the full range of functions as the LED sensor button.

GEZE GmbH

GEZE - We open doors and set the standards of tomorrow today

The company's pioneering spirit, pursuit of innovation and uncompromising quality have been unbroken since its foundation in 1863. The independent family company develops, produces and sells system solutions for door, window and safety technology. As one of the market, innovation and design leaders, GEZE has achieved world class status. Starting from the company's headquarters in Leonberg in the Stuttgart region, GEZE is represented by 27 subsidiaries and over 2,100 employees throughout the world. In the financial year 2009/2010, a total turnover of approx. 380 million Euros has been achieved.

The door closers from GEZE are uncompromising quality and rank among the best known in the world. The automatic door systems from GEZE open up an almost unlimited range of door design options. State-of-the-art innovative drives in which a high performance capability, safety, comfort and design are the top priority ensure that they are the focus of every entrance area. The glass systems from GEZE with their award-winning fitting solutions are characterised by functionality and great architectural freedom.

The system concept always in view

GEZE safety technology on doors and windows is important for fire prevention in emergency exits, controlled access and protection of the building shell from the outside. Smoke and heat extraction systems from GEZE save lives, as they make it possible to escape from the building quickly and safely in case of fire. The central control and visualisation systems monitor automation components in building technology and provide security and comfort as a result of multi-faceted networking options. For each of these objectives, GEZE offers individual solutions and perfectly harmonizing solution concepts which combine safety requirements in an intelligent system and open and close doors and windows in a coordinated manner in the case of danger.

Innovative products determine the future

One of the issues in window technology that determines the future is energy efficiency. "Intelligent" windows with coordinated drive and control technology from GEZE save energy and also provide comfort and security. Barrier-free door and window systems, e.g. with remote control, take into consideration the needs of the older generations of tomorrow. Control and monitoring systems of the opening conditions of windows - in the case of fire or for everyday ventilation - will be standard in a few years time. GEZE is already equipped for this. A focus on the future also means sustainability. GEZE incorporates economic, ecological and technical sustainability criteria, as well as aspects of the quality of life, even into the development of its products.

GEZE in the buildings of the world

Important buildings throughout the world are fitted with system solutions and products from GEZE, for example the China Pavilion at Expo 2010 in Shanghai, the New Acropolis Museum in Athens, the Mercedes Benz-Museum in Stuttgart or the opera and concert house Palacio de las Artes Reina Sofía in Valencia to name but a few.
