High Voltage Modules for modular Heavy Duty Connector-Systems

Energytransmission - rugged, flexible, reliable and proven

(PresseBox) (Eching / Germany, )
The High Voltage-Modules from GES Electronic & Service GmbH enable energy-transmission in durable industrial environments and are available in two types:

The HiPro HV-Module is designed for voltages up to 13 kV DC (nominal voltage) and a rated current of up to 30 A. Recessed Cu-crimp-contacts ensure high damage and safety protection and can be attached to different wire gauges from 0,5 – 4,0 mm² (AWG20 to AWG12).

The PTFE HV-Module withstands voltages up to 15 kV DC (nominal voltage) and a rated current up to 25 A. It is available either as one-pin configuration (centralized or displaced) or as two-pin configuration. The insulation-tubes are made of PTFE (Teflon®) and are fixed in a hard and resisting potting compound of VU 4457 (Vepuran®). Resistant against heat and creepache current the module can also withstand pulsed voltages.

Both modules are constructed within a molded and fibreglass strengthened housing of Polyamide 6.6 (Nylon®) and can be operated in temperature ranges from -40°C to +125°C; combustibility/flammability is in accordance with UL94-VO.

The modules are inserted into a fixation frame and then into an IP65 cast steel-housing available in different sizes with a wide variety of locking-systems, cable-entries and –glands. A maximum of seven modules can be placed in one housing adding up 14 HV-connections per system. Alternatively the system can also be equipped with other GES-modules for data- and/or pneu/fluid-transmission to enable hybrid applications.

Typically used for industrial machinery and facilities like robotics and material handling, tool machinery or assembly- and packaging facilities this connection-system also enables very durable and hybrid interconnections for electrotechnical applications like in analysis- and measurement equipment when using the smaller housings.

Rugged, flexible, reliable and proven these modules from GES Electronic & Service GmbH present an alternative to common high-voltage connectors and are an advanced and hybrid-expandable solution compatible to the worldwide common systems Amphenol C146M, Lapp Contact EPIC MC, Walther Werke Procon MO, Weidmüller ConCept and Wieland revos FLEX.
