Dr. Leonhard Birnbaum, Vorstandsvorsitzender der E.ON SE, ist einstimmig zum Aufsichtsratsvorsitzenden der Georgsmarienhütte Holding GmbH gewählt worden, nachdem Dr. Jürgen Großmann den Vorsitz niedergelegt hat. Dr. Birnbaum gehört dem Aufsichtsrat seit 2012 an.

Dr. Jürgen Großmann: „Es freut mich sehr, den Vorsitz des Aufsichtsrates an Dr. Leonhard Birnbaum zu übergeben. Mit seiner umfassenden Erfahrung aus Beratung und Energiewirtschaft setzt er wichtige Impulse für die Zukunft der GMH Gruppe. Er wird dem neu formierten Management-Team um Dr. Alexander Becker tatkräftig zur Seite stehen.“

Dr. Jürgen Großmann wird dem Aufsichtsrat weiter als reguläres Mitglied angehören.
