Baubeginn des Genesis Solartec Werkes in Raron

Im schweizerischen Kanton Wallis beginnen in der Orschaft Raron am Montag, 27. Juni 2011, 10.30 Uhr, im Industriegebiet „Basper“ die Bauarbeiten für das neue Solarpanel-Werk der Genesis Solartec AG, Wädenswil/ZH. Die Produktion wird laut Werksplan im Herbst 2012 aufgenommen.

Das Gebäude wird 23‘000 Quadratmeter umfassen. Die reinen Baukosten betragen rund 16 Millionen Franken. In dem Komplex werden nach Fertigstellung Produktion, Forschung und Verwaltung des Unternehmens untergebracht. Insgesamt werden laut heutiger Personalplanung in den kommenden Jahren 206 Technologie - Arbeitsplätze in der Region geschaffen.

Auf Grund der Bedeutung des Projekts haben sich Vertreter der Gemeinde und des Kantons angemeldet, um dabei zu sein, wenn Andreas Bachmann, Verwaltungsratspräsident der Genesis Invest AG, Wädenswil, den ersten Bauabschnitt feierlich eröffnet. Neben Gemeindepräsident Daniel Troger, Burgerpräsident Markus Ruffener und René Ruppen, Delegierter der Dienststelle für Wirtschaftsentwicklung des Kantons Wallis, werden weitere Gäste aus der Region erwartet.
