More compact, smaller, better value

A milestone in industrial plastic piping systems

(PresseBox) (Ingelfingen-Criesbach, )
In plant engineering there is a great demand for application specific components with a wide range of functions which save space and weight and are easy to install. Compact, lightweight plastic diaphragm valves offer cost-effective alternatives to conventional valve designs.

The new R690 and R677 2/2-way plastic diaphragm valves from GEMÜ, the Ingelfingen specialist for valves, measurement and control systems offer all the advantages for economical use in these applications: They are small and compact, lightweight and designed so that combinations of several nominal sizes can be installed on the same mounting height plane. For installation, the valves are supplied in all standard connections for the different international standards.

Despite their compact size and smaller dimensions, the redesigned flow-optimized valve bodies provide the same high flow rates as the previous models, and in some cases even higher flow rates, as well as being competitively priced. Depending on the valve design, they work reliably at temperatures from minus 20°C to plus 80°C and at pressures of up to 10 bar.

The product line comprises nominal sizes from DN 15 to 100. In the course of redesigning its products, GEMÜ has also succeeded in significantly reducing the control air consumption of the type R690 pneumatic actuated version.

In addition to the standard optical position indicators, features include options such as electrical position indicators, positioners or process controllers, manual overrides, pilot valves, seal adjusters and stroke limiters. Depending on requirements and application, GEMÜ valve bodies are available in a variety of plastics (PVC-U, PP, ABS etc.) and with a range of seal materials (EPDM, PTFE, FPM, NBR).

Suitable for use in almost all industrial sectors

These compact plastic diaphragm valves are suitable for economical use in chemical process plant, for plant solutions in surface finishing, coating and electroplating, municipal and industrial water treatment, as well as solutions for power stations and exhaust air cleaning systems. Also for sensitive procedures and technologies such as reverse osmosis, neutralization, in swimming pools with microfilter systems or for chemical processes with aggressive and corrosive media, the GEMÜ components also provide economical alternatives to conventional valve designs such as for applications in environmental systems, the electronics industry or also for production processes such as the manufacture of fertilizers or detergents.

For Compact Plastic Valves solutions, GEMÜ offers everything from a single source

The R690 and R677 plastic diaphragm valves are part of the GEMÜ "Compact Plastic Valves" series (CPV). When it comes to the CPV range, GEMÜ can supply everything from a single source - from single valves and system components, right through to a full range of valve accessories.
