No anchoring? No problem! GEDA 1500 Z/ZP F

(PresseBox) (Asbach-Bäumenheim, )
The GEDA 1500 Z/ZP F is the latest product from GEDA. This new device is based on the proven, popular GEDA 1500 Z/ZP. The difference: The F stands for “free-standing”, meaning that it can be operated free-standing0, up to a transport height of 12 m and therefore without time-consuming anchorings. The time saved during assembly is therefore one of the most significant advantages of the GEDA 15000 Z/ZP F.

Naturally, when designing a new product, we not only think about efficient and sensible vertical transport, but also about logistics to and from the construction site. The base of the free standing hoist is designed to easily fit on a truck so it can easily and simply be brought to site. Thanks to the flexible roof, the hoist can be lifted with a specific crane lug to its destined position. The only thing that needs to be done is to remove one segment of the high quality roof to install the crane lug safely and quick.

The GEDA 1500 Z/ZP F has two separate control systems and can be used either as a material hoist only or as a transport platform for passengers and materials. As soon as heavy and bulky goods have to be transported, the unit scores particularly well. The platform with a size of 1.45 x 3.3 m offers plenty of space for the most diverse building materials, improving logistics at the construction site. This versatile all-rounder impresses with a load capacity of up to 1,300 kg or seven people. The transport platform control with a speed of 12 m/min is activated for transporting passengers and materials. If only building materials have to be transported, the hoist is switched to material hoist mode with a speed of 24 m/min.

As a free-standing transport platform, the hoist can become indispensable at a variety of different construction sites. Placing anchors is often not possible due to the architectural situation, glass façades or the conditions at the construction site. In these cases, the GEDA 1500 Z/ZP F proves to be the ideal helper. Persons and materials can be transported by the free-standing unit and therefore without complex anchoring. This is ensured by the base plate weighing 1,700 kg. Maximum flexibility, fast installation and added safety are the special features of this device.

It runs on two steel masts that ensure stable movement of the platform. The system uses the known GEDA UNI-X-MAST, a clever system that can be used for many GEDA rack and pinion hoists from 300 to 2,200 kg load capacity.

Depending on the construction progress and the conditions at the construction site, the GEDA 1500 Z/ZP F can also be used with anchors, bringing the advantages of the GEDA 1500 into play to reach a transport height of 100 m.

Pioneers in safety

GEDA has been setting new standards in terms of both quality and safety for decades. The GEDA 1500 Z/ZP F is of course equipped with the usual safety equipment such as limit switches, speed-dependent safety gear, safety stop and overload protection. A wide range of hot-dip galvanized landing level safety gates provide for safe transfer between the platform and the respective landing level.
