Technical springs and small assemblies for the automotive industry

We produce high quality technical springs and small assemblies (spring sleeves) for the automotive industry

(PresseBox) (Schalksmühle, )
Comfort, workmanship and the quality of the materials used - the cockpit of a vehicle plays a major role in the purchase decision. In addition to design and ergonomics, the haptic and acoustics of the individual control elements define the personal character of a modern vehicle.
However, rotary switches, levers and temperature controls in particular are exposed to high loads every day. Here our spring sleeves and compression springs ensure smooth operation. In almost every vehicle made by European manufacturers, you will come into contact with our springs - without being aware of them in everyday life.

They are also indispensable in the classic combustion engine or in innovative electric mobility applications: our springs.
They are used wherever maximum precision is required and just small space available. Because it is the individual components that make your product successful. With our modern manufacturing processes, we achieve an exact grinding pattern even with small wire diameters. This guarantees a clean standing surface and small force tolerances.

Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001: 2015 and IATF 16949: 2016 is a matter of course for us.

Gebrüder Hahn GmbH

Gebrüder Hahn GmbH was founded in 1928 and produces sophisticated technical springs and assemblies primarily for the automotive, electrical and consumer goods industries as well as for mechanical engineering.
We meet the high quality requirements of our markets with certifications according to DIN EN ISO 9001: 2015 and IATF 16949: 2016 and supply our customers worldwide with our products as an innovative partner.
Our product portfolio consists of compression springs in the wire size range from 0.1mm to 2.8mm, we use all common materials for production, mainly in accordance with EN 10270. With our modern machinery, we are able to grind the end coils even with the smallest compression springs. With external partners, we offer a wide variety of surface treatments (e.g. galvanic coatings, PTFE and plastic coatings, shot peening, etc.).
We supply so-called spring sleeves as small assemblies for innovative applications, in which a deep-drawn metal sleeve is connected to a compression spring. These components are used in automobile interiors or in high-quality household appliances in order to implement switching processes with haptic and acoustic feedback in the smallest of spaces (e.g. navigation control unit, air conditioning control units, indicator / wiper combinations, program selector switches in washing machines, temperature setting for irons, etc.).
