This year, Gartner is celebrating 20 years of its flagship annual tech industry conference Symposium/ITxpo around the world. We hope you can join us in Cannes for the most important annual gathering of CIOs and senior technology executives.
Over four days, 3,000 CIOs and senior IT leaders, more than 80 Gartner analysts and 50 solution providers will gather to discuss how to prepare for recovery while maintaining the discipline learned from the downturn. In addition, Gartner analysts will examine the past 20 years in IT and discuss what's possible for the next 20 years.
This year's event will focus on nine-role-based tracks plus a special programme for CIOs. It comprises more than 200 analyst-led sessions, interactive workshops, peer roundtables and how-to clinics. The programme will also include more industry-oriented content around defense, financial services, healthcare, government and higher education, and overall an increased focus on Europe.
There will be two mastermind keynote interviews with:
- Michael Dell, Chairman & CEO, Dell
- Wolfgang Gaertner, CIO, Deutsche Bank
As well as a visionary keynote presentation from:
- Charles Leadbeater, Leading Authority on Innovation and Creativity.
Two CIO panels have just been announced with participation from:
Saul van Beurden, CIO of ING Retail Banking Direct & International (Netherlands);
Pascal Buffard, Chief Executive Officer of AXA, Group Solutions and Head of AXA Technology Services, AXA France;
