nüMaps Lifetime – Lebenslange Updates für das Navigationsgerät
Kunden können nüMaps Lifetime über einen autorisierten Garmin-Händler oder online unter www.garmin.de/numapslifetime erwerben. Der Update-Prozess selbst erfolgt schnell und einfach per Online-Download. Die Straßenkarten werden zunächst auf den Computer geladen und dann per USB Kabel auf das Navigationsgerät übertragen. Auf Wunsch werden Abonnenten per E-Mail benachrichtigt, sobald ein neues Update vorliegt – und das bis zu vier Mal pro Jahr. Die Kartendaten stammen von NAVTEQ, dem weltweit führenden Anbieter von hochwertigem Kartenmaterial. Das nüMaps Lifetime-Programm gilt für die gesamte Lebensdauer* des Navigationsgerätes, ist jedoch weder bei Verkauf des Geräts übertragbar noch für ein anderes kompatibles Gerät einzusetzen.
Verfügbarkeit und Preis
Das nüMaps Lifetime-Programm ist ab Februar 2009 verfügbar. NüMaps Lifetime ist in drei verschiedenen Ausführungen erhältlich: City Navigator Europe NT (€ 119,99), City Navigator North America NT ($ 119,99) und City Navigator Transatlantic ($149,99). Kunden können auch weiterhin einzelne Straßenkarten-Updates (nüMaps Onetime) zu Preisen ab 79,99 Euro erwerben.
