fun communications presented its WebCard Loyalty portal to interested visitors for the first time with great success at CeBIT 2008. WebCard Loyalty brings the already extremely successful loyalty cards into the virtual world of the Internet.
Loyalty cards and bonus programmes are essential marketing instruments for attracting and keeping customers. If the customer wanted to use his card online as well, up until now he had to laboriously type the customer number from the card and enter an extra password. With the virtual loyalty card, this is now a thing of the past. The virtual loyalty card is visually present on the customer's desktop. Through the use of Microsoft's CardSpace™ technology based on an open standard for secure user authentication, the customer retains full control over the sharing of his data (User-Centric Identity Management).
The big day is 22nd April, 2008, at the 2nd European Identity Conference 2008 in Munich: WebCard Loyalty goes online. Companies can use the portal to issue loyalty cards on the Internet simply, securely and conveniently. In just three steps, beginning with the layout and contents of the loyalty card, through to issuing the cards to the customers and culminating in running promotion campaigns with vouchers and discount offers, everything is controlled in a standardised user interface. Numerous revealing statistics provide a detailed analysis to measure the success of the individual promotion campaigns.
