With several new exciting records, CHINA DIECASTING 2016 is regarded as a milestone on the path of becoming the most important die casting exhibition in Asia. The total net space was 9,591 ㎡ (2015: 6,940 ㎡) and the number of visitors has increased to 12,072 (2015: 8,392). The exhibition attracted 295 exhibitors (2015: 255) from 19 countries and regions (Germany, Italy, Japan, the United States, Switzerland, France, Britain, Sweden, South Korea, Austria, Canada, Malaysia, Thailand, Spain, India, Slovenia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan). With an international participation of 30%, CHINA DIECASTING 2016 has become the global platform for the leading die casting manufacturers and suppliers from all over the world.
High-ending conference program attracted the attention from the world
Besides the exhibition, the various onsite programs also made CHINA DIECASTING 2016 more exciting and attractive. The 2016 China Nonferrous Alloys and Special Casting Development Forum took place from July 9 to 11 in Holiday Inn Shanghai Jiuxiu before the exhibition, 47 technical speeches were presented in 4 parallel sessions. The 11th China International Die Casting Congress and the 3rd International Symposium on Nonferrous Alloys and Special Casting Technologies provided a highly-international academic and technical platform to present the latest technologies, ideas and visions, which were shared by 28 industry experts. The 2016 Sino-Foreign Die Casting Development Forum invited 9 international experts and received more than 100 participants from China and overseas. The topics for Panel Discussion covered the development of die casting technologies, the way of survival in future die cast market, Join hands in strength and resources integration, etc. The forum is acknowledged as the most high-ending industry forum in the Chinese die casting market.

Leading competition event in China succeed again
Among the onsite events of CHINA DIECASTING 2016, the Best Die Casting Competition has attracted the most attention of exhibitors and visitors. 55 companies with 113 casting products in different application fields competed in Best Die Casting Competition Area for the Gold Award and Excellence Award. China International Die Casting Match-making 2016 matched 36 buyers and 200 suppliers with face to face negotiations. As a successful result, most of the participants found their potential clients. The other international match-making event made free space for domestic and foreign well-known purchasers and nearly hundred casting suppliers to exchange ideas about process conditions, equipment, personnel, product requirements and other aspects. Solutions for Mould and Die Casting Parts, which invited 4 experts for onsite solving various die casting technical problems, brought participants a good chance to get to know the latest theory and practical guidance.
Special onsite events provided more value to the industry
Additionally, the new topic on China Nonferrous Alloys and Special Casting is implemented to CHINA DIECASTING 2016. Meanwhile, a special event - The 2nd China Foundry Science and Technology Achievements Trade Fair was another eye catching spot onsite. 17 universities from China and abroad presented their scientific and technological achievements and attracted a number of visitors. With the purpose of applying academic achievements to the actual production to solve practical problems, the Achievements Trade Fair set up a bridge between academic institutes and companies.
CHINA DIECASTING 2016 enjoyed the biggest success ever since it was first launched in 1997. However, a further development is expected. On the occasion of the 11th edition, the next CHINA DIECASTING will be held still in Shanghai from July 19 to 21 2017 in two halls at SNIEC. More exhibitors and visitors are expected, better service will be offered, more exciting onsite programs are going to be organized. We are looking forward to welcoming the industry again in Shanghai!
