Kompetenzzentrum Quantencomputing startet am Fraunhofer-Institut für Techno- und Wirtschaftsinformatik ITWM

Der nächste Meilenstein für anwendungsnahes Quantencomputing in Deutschland ist gelegt: Am Fraunhofer ITWM wurde das Kompetenzzentrum »Quanten-High Performance Computing« eröffnet; es ist das zweite Quanten-Kompetenzzentrum der Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. Ziel des Großforschungsprojektes ist es, Quantencomputing für industrielle Anwendungen nutzbar zu machen. Auch das Land Rheinland-Pfalz ist überzeugt von den vielfältigen Anwendungsmöglichkeiten den neuen Technologie.
