Imaging Experts Academy seminars and training courses for 2016

(PresseBox) (Taufkirchen, )
As global imaging experts for products ranging from sensors to systems, FRAMOS play a pioneering role in technological imaging developments. The company passes on its expertise to future specialists in this sector via its Imaging Experts Academy.

This allows engineers, project managers and other employees involved in imaging applications to effectively overcome their imaging challenges and gain a competitive edge with the knowledge they acquire. The training courses are given by internationally renowned experts and carefully selected specialists and take the form of practical seminars, product training and webinars.

The courses for 2016 start in March, when the imaging expert Professor Albert Theuwissen will hold his English-language hands-on training course entitled ‘Characterisation of a CMOS Camera’, which will also take place in November. The ‘Advanced Digital Image Processing’ training course given by Amercian imaging expert Dr. Majid Rabbani, will be held for the first time in Europe. Both training courses are aimed at experienced imaging users. This also applies to the EMVA 1288 seminars in June and December, which will examine the imaging standard and the associated measuring technology in detail. Those new to the field of imaging can attend seminars such as ‘Einführung in die 3D-Bildmesstechnik und Photogrammetrie’ (Introduction to 3D Imaging Metrology and Photogrammetry), held by Professor Thomas Luhmann in April, and ‘Technische Optik für Bildverarbeiter’ (Technical Optics for Imagers), held by Professor Bernd Jähne in May.

In collaboration with the Vision Academy and the German Packaging Institute (dvi), the Imaging Experts Academy is offering the seminar ‘Prozessoptimierung in der Bildverarbeitung’ (Imaging Process Optimisation) and, in collaboration with the German Engineering Federation (VDMA), the seminar ‘Bildverarbeitung für Industrie und Robotik’ (Imaging for Industry and Robotics) by Professor Christoph Heckenkamp and Professor Thomas Netzsch, both of which are aimed specifically at industrial companies. A complete overview of all the training courses is available at http://www.framos.com/....

In the two-day intensive seminars, in which participants benefit from the experience gained over the course of countless real-life projects, specific technical expertise and the interactive training approach, the participants have the opportunity to become specialists themselves. All the seminars can also be booked as in-house sessions with customised content and timing, as well as individually configured training programmes.

Product training courses given in close collaboration with suppliers provide specific support on the day-to-day use of imaging components. Online webinars present current technical trends and developments, application examples and real-life approaches in a short and concise format.
