Arnold Schwarzenegger überzeugt ForeScout stärker in Kalifornien zu investieren

Bei einem Treffen mit ForeScout in Tel Aviv, Israel konnte der neue Gouverneur von Kalifornien, Arnold Schwarzenegger für die Ansiedlung und Investition in Kalifornien den Security Software-Hersteller ForeScout für seine Pläne gewinnen.

„Vor meiner Wahl habe ich versprochen die ganze Welt zu bereisen, um neue Arbeitgeber und damit verbunden neue Arbeitsplätze für Kalifornien zu finden“, sagte Schwarzenegger.

Die Schaffung von neuen Arbeitsplätze bei ForeScout in San Mateo führt zu einer Erweiterung der Aktivitäten. Im Mittelpunkt steht die Ansiedlung des Control Centers welches einen neuen, weltweiten Service bietet um Internet Hacker zu stoppen.

ForeScout bietet mit WormScout 3.0 eine Softwarelösung an, die eine Verbreitung sich selbst reproduzierender Würmer verhindert. Mit einer Fülle neuer Funktionen garantiert WormScout Unternehmen einen normalen Betriebsablauf, während das System Würmer automatisch erkennt, sofort aufhält und entfernt. WormScout basiert auf der patentierten Active-Response-Technology die keine Signaturen benötigt.

Neben ForeScout konnte „Arnie“ Schwarzenegger noch weitere Firmen gewinnen und damit insgesamt rund 800 neue Arbeitsplätze in Kalifornien schaffen.
