Der Cisco Learning Solutions Partner Fast Lane bietet mit Designing for Cisco Internetwork Solutions (DESGN) einen 5-tägigen Kurs für Netzwerkdesigner bzw. -spezialisten, die für die Planung und Implementierung zuständig sind. Darüber hinaus eignet sich dieses Seminar für Teilnehmer, die die CCDA (Cisco Certified Design Associate)-Zertifizierung absolvieren wollen. Im Laufe des Kurses wird vermittelt, wie Internetworking-Anforderungen zu erkennen und aufzunehmen sind. Darauf aufbauend bringen die praxiserfahrenen Trainer den Teilnehmern näher, wie eine passende Lösunge identifiziert und eine Netzwerkinfrastruktur entwickelt wird, die die Funktionalität der vorgeschlagenen Lösung sicherstellt.

Der Kurs basiert auf den aktuell gängigen Verfahren und Technologien. Nach Absolvierung dieses Seminars sind Teilnehmer in der Lage, u.a. Netzwerkmanagement-Anforderungen in Eigenregie klar zu definieren und bestehende Systeme sowie Infrastrukturen zu bewerten.
