15 Fassi Cranes on Show at Elmia in Sweden

On the occasion of the Lastbil trade fair, one of the most popular industrial vehicle expositions in Europe, which will take place at Elmia in Sweden at the end of August, Fassi will be presenting two F545RA cranes

(PresseBox) (Gründau, )
Fassi Cranes, world leader in the lifting sector, will, as usual, be present at Lastbil, the Swedish trade fair dedicated to the industrial vehicle sector, which will take place at Elmia (320 km south west of Stockholm) from 24th to 27th August. Lastbil is a biennial event which started in 1983 and which attracted approximately 40,000 visitors from all over Europe with every one of the last ten editions.

The national dealer for the Italian brand, Fassi Sverige AB, based in Göteborg, will display two of the highly sought-after F545RA cranes from Fassi’s range of large models on their 1,000 square metre stand, number U502:10.

Part of the XE range, the F545RA cranes can be fitted onto 3-axle trucks thanks to their reduced weight, offering operators extraordinary lifting performance for this type of vehicle. The advantage of this truck-crane combination is the possibility to work in particularly restricted spaces, lifting weights of up to 53 ton/m.

Obviously, if this model is combined with the new version of the Fassi FSC/SII* stability system, which exploits the improved efficiency of the new angular sensor combined with the moment limiter, the versatility of the truck-crane combination can be exploited to the full even when the crane is fitted on a tractor unit.

The F545RA models present on the Fassi Sveirge stand at Lastbil are both versions with 6 hydraulic extensions with a lifting capacity of 47 ton/m and with a maximum hydraulic outreach of over 16 m. One of these cranes (fitted on the Fassi demo semitrailer) includes the L426 hydraulic extension. It has the same lifting capacity, with a hydraulic outreach of up to 20.55 m which, with manual extensions, arrives at over 30 m. The other version without jib is fitted on a Volvo FH 6x2.

Among the various truck-fitted cranes on the stand, there will be a F235A.2.26 on a Mercedes Antos 6x2, two F275A02 models in the 6 and 8 extension versions on, respectively, a Volvo FH 8x4 tridem and a Scania P410 6x2*4, as well as an impressive F990RA.2.28 with L616 jib on a Scania R490 8x2*6. These set-ups will be accompanied by a Fassi demo semitrailer with the following models: an F65B.1.24, an F112B.0.22, an F165AZ and an F485A.2.25, as well as the previously-mentioned F545RA.2.26 with jib. Fassi Sverige will also be presenting various interesting set-ups on demo vehicles on the Mercedes and Iveco stands.

All of the staff of the Swedish Fassi dealer will be ready to welcome the many visitors to their stand at the 2016 edition of Lastbil!
