parts2clean Presents Diverse Offerings for Industrial Parts Cleaning

35% more Visitors at Leading International Trade Fair for Parts Cleaning in Stuttgart

(PresseBox) (Neuffen, )
210 exhibitors from 12 countries participated at the 5th parts2clean, which took place for the first time at the new Stuttgart Exhibition Centre from the 9th through the 11th of October, 2007. After three days, their assessment of the event was nearly unanimous: parts2clean is the world's most significant trade fair in the field of industrial parts cleaning. An increase in visitor numbers amounting to roughly 35% for a total of 3813 persons certainly contributed to this situation. And they were able to gather more information regarding product and service offerings covering the entire process sequence for industrial parts cleaning than at any other trade fair.

"On the one hand, relocation to Stuttgart will increase the success of our exhibitors and, on the other hand, it will contribute to further continuous growth of parts2clean", explained Hartmut Herdin, managing director of event promoters fairXperts GmbH, last year regarding the relocation. And his forecast has been confirmed: Net exhibition floor space at this year's parts2clean increased by 19% to approximately 55,000 square feet. In pavilion 9, which was fully occupied right down to the very last booth location, 210 exhibitors (roughly 7% more than last year) presented multi-industry product and service offerings covering the entire process sequence, which plays a decisive role in the manufacturing process. The event attracted 3813 visitors to Stuttgart during its 3 day duration, 70.6% of whom were first-time visitors - 35% more than last year. Just under 20% of the visitors came from foreign countries in Europe and Asia, as well as from the USA. But parts2clean was not just a quantitative success, visitor quality was excellent as well: More than 88% influence company investment and procurement decisions.

Outstanding New Contacts and Concrete RFQs
The vast majority of the exhibitors, who were provided outstanding opportunities for establishing new contacts and received concrete orders thanks to the technical competence and the decision making authority of the visitors, indicated that they were very satisfied for this reason. "This is the third time we've participated at the event, and it's been the best time ever for us because we've been able to close some very successful deals. parts2clean is visited exclusively by experts who need to solve cleaning problems. And that's why we'll be back again next year", reports Detlef Weber, managing director of Wehrle & Weber GmbH in Melle, Germany. Yvonne Böhler from marketing and sales at Diener electronic GmbH & Co. KG in Nagold, Germany, drew similar conclusions: "We had a small booth the first time we exhibited at parts2clean, and we're very pleased with the way things have gone at the trade fair - we had good contacts with foreign visitors too, and event organisation was great. That makes us eager for more, and we'll be back again next year." Johannes Kaltenbrunner, sales manager for the metal cleaning division at Rübig GmbH & Co. KG in Wels, Austria, has also already signed his contract for next year: "We'll be taking 60 to 70 concrete RFQs for special machines home with us. It's been the most successful parts2clean for us to date." Claudia Engler, marketing manager at Dürr Ecoclean GmbH, is also pleased with the extremely positive outcome of the trade fair: "We've been able to establish more high quality contacts at this year's event than ever before. parts2clean is our most important trade fair, and we've already made plans to participate again in 2008."
No only did suppliers of cleaning equipment and systems attract lots of visitor interest - and practically all of the renowned players from this sector were represented at the event - parts2clean 2007 was also a success for exhibiting companies from other sectors as well. "After being asked by a customer why Olympus was not participating at the leading trade fair for parts cleaning and residual contamination analysis, we exhibited at parts2clean for the first time in 2006. It was so interesting that we decided to participate again this year, and the overall increase in demand for cleanliness analysis systems has made itself apparent for us as well. It's also been exciting to have so many visitors from foreign countries at our booth", says Jati Kastanja, imaging consultant for Olympus Soft Imaging Solutions GmbH, Germany. Peter Rowsell, sales manager for Eclipse Magnetics in Sheffield, England, was also surprised at the large number of visitors: "We're exhibiting for the first time at parts2clean together with our representative from Germany, and feedback regarding our magnetic filters has been very good. Visitors came form the metalworking industry, from engineering and from the automotive industry - for example, our booth was visited by employees from Volkswagen."

Amongst the users as well, parts2clean has established itself as the international platform for finding solutions to cleaning problems. 92% of all visitors were satisfied to very satisfied with the event, and 20.6% indicated in the visitor survey that they had placed orders during the trade fair, or would place orders very soon.

As has also been the case in previous years, the expert forum was a crowd-puller in 2007 as well. Roughly 1400 visitors took advantage of the opportunity to gather information by attending practically oriented presentations held by renowned expert from industry, economics and R&D regarding current developments, new requirements and trends in the field of cleaning technology. Beyond this, the special show devoted to the industrial parts cleaning process sequence motivated viewers to optimise their own cleaning processes.

parts2clean exhibitors, as well as the great majority of the event's visitors, consider it important to maintain a clear-cut boundary to other surface finishing technologies. The next leading international trade fair for industrial parts cleaning will take place, once again in Stuttgart, from the 28th through the 30th of October, 2008. And it's growth trend will continue - this is being foreshadowed by the floor space reservations which have already been received.
