Herzlake, Februar 2018. Um den derzeitigen sowie zukünftigen Marktanforderungen im Nutzfahrzeugbereich in puncto Ersatzteilversorgung Rechnung zu tragen, hat die Krone Nutzfahrzeug Gruppe ihr neues zentrales Logistikzentrum in Betrieb genommen. Bei einem Investitionsvolumen für das wegweisende Großprojekt mit rund 8,5 Millionen Euro entstand das moderne Distributionszentrum an der Europastraße 233 (Bundesstraße 213) in Herzlake mit einer Gesamtfläche von 38.000 Quadratmetern. Dies entspricht fünfeinhalb Fußballfeldern. Die überdachte Lagerfläche von 8.400 Quadratmetern verteilt sich dabei auf zwölf Ebenen. Hier finden 17.500 Europaletten sowie 16.000 Behälter für kleinere Ersatzteile Platz. Derzeit kommissionieren ca. 40 Mitarbeiter monatlich mehr als 23.000 Positionen und versenden diese in imlyxlvky Hrep.
