Fassaden als neue Agrarflächen

Der innovative Fassaden-Photobioreaktor des BMBF-geförderten Verbundprojekts „Next Generation Biofilm“ ist ein Publikumsmagnet auf der aktuellen internationalen BAU-Messe in München. Die Hochschule Kaiserslautern entwickelt zusammen mit der Hochschule Augsburg, dem Umweltcampus Birkenfeld und der TU Kaiserslautern den ersten an Luft geführten Bioreaktor, der mit terrestrischen Mikroalgen Wirk- und Wertstoffe produziert und gleichzeitig in die Umgebung und Technik einer Fassade intergiert werden kann. Das Fassadenmodul erschließt dadurch die zukunftsweisende Möglichkeit in den wachsenden Städten die Fassaden als neue Agrarflächen zu erschließen.

Noch bis Samstag kann der Photobioreaktor am DETAIL Research Lab Stand B0.204 besichtigt werden.
