The eyevis eStreaming Solution is a new way to transmit in real time DVI signals across networks with a very low latency. The system is based on an Encoder/Decoder solution which transmits the signal with a special eyevis compression technology. The Signals can be decoded everywhere again without losing quality, for example on a eyevis Videowall or standalone Displays. The unique feature of the system is the possibility to use a standard network or a the special eyevis network with nearly zero latency. This special network guarantees no packet loses and that all streams are synchronized on the network. This functionality gives a flexible virtual network Matrix with a lot of possibilities to transmit signals. The solution can be used for transmitting signals across long distances, in WAN connection, multiple rooms, between buildings or technical rooms. The eStreaming solution can be combined as well with all eyevis products to stream signals across the network and display it on NPX display wall processors, standalone Displays, projectors or display & cube walls. Also with the KVM support it is possible to control PC's from distance with a local keyboard and mouse.
With eStreaming there is no more need to think about complicated DVI cabling, especially for long distances where optical fibre was required this representsa huge cost saving as only a network is required to feed signals and to get signals everywhere you want it.
Unique with the eyevis solution is that by using the eyevis network instead of the standard network, nearly zero latency can be guaranteed. It is also possible to use standard networks, but here the zero latency can't be guaranteed.
