  • single source for end2end communications solution
  • exceet connect as a modular and scalable security solution
  • secure gateway specially designed for mobility requirements
This year’s CeBIT expo, to be held from March 20 to 24, will feature under the motto “Digitization live”. exceet will be on location at a central booth in Hall 5 as a member of the European 4.0 Transformation Center of RWTH Aachen Campus. We will join with other technology partners to showcase the digitized value chain, based on the example of the electric car e.GO Life.

As a startup in the electric car field, the European 4.0 Transformation Center of RWTH Aachen has assumed a pioneering role in the field of mobility by digitizing its processes right from the outset. Exhibits and digital use cases on topics such as innovation, production and connectivity will offer first-hand insights on how the entire digital value chain is structured.

In the secure networking sphere, exceet will present its “IoT Security by Design” concept to show how vehicle and routing data can be securely gathered, displayed and evaluated via the IoT Gateway developed by exceet. The exceet Gateway is a central communication node for direct use in distributed industrial applications and serves as a tool for global interconnectivity of components, devices and facilities. Additionally, the IoT Gateway is equipped with a Secure Element which uses cryptographic operations to protect and securely store applications and data/information.

exceet connect for IoT Security by Design

Visitors have the opportunity to gain a first-hand impression of exceet’s end2end IoT security solution – it’s easy to use and thus considerably reduces the technical entry thresholds of IoT. The solution permits secure planning, management and implementation of complex IoT projects as well as data-based mapping of new digital business models.

“exceet connect is based on certificates. From a technology standpoint, it is therefore the most reliable and secure system for managing IoT infrastructures available on the market today” explains Christian Schmitz, CEO of exceet Secure Solutions GmbH. Additionally, exceet connect readily enables compliance with regulatory requirements. The solution is scalable and can be adapted flexibly to suit growing customer needs.
The exceet member companies exceet Secure Solutions and Lucom will participate in the CeBIT expo from March 20-24, 2017 in Hannover. Visit exceet in Hall 5, Booth C38.
